FEES & REBATES

NorthScope Psychology charges $180 per 50 minute consultation (inclusive of GST), which is below the 2014 Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommended fee.

The Medicare rebate per 50 minute consultation is $84.80. However, to be eligible to receive psychological services under Medicare, a referral from a General Practitioner or a Psychiatrist is required. Medicare allows you to claim a rebate for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. A review by the referring General Practitioner or Psychiatrist is required after the first 6 sessions.

• Note that you do not require a referral from a General Practitioner or Psychiatrist to access psychological services unless you intend to claim a Medicare rebate.

A portion of your fees may be redeemed from your private health insurance provider, depending on your health plan.

Our Psychologists are WorkCover NSW accredited and are able to provide psychological services to clients currently on WorkCover.

Payments:

Payment can be made via EFTPOS or credit card only. No AMEX or Diners cards are accepted.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:

Once the appointment is booked it is reserved for you only.

• 0-24 hours = full fee
• 24-48 hours = 50% fee
